We’re a small mountain town situated in the Roaring Fork Valley, downstream from Aspen and upstream from the mouth of the Roaring Fork River at Glenwood Springs. The Crystal River runs right through town, and just north of us is the confluence of Crystal and the Roaring Fork Rivers. Every day, we enjoy the breathtaking views of Mount Sopris to the south.
At 6,181 feet of elevation, there are a few things to consider to make your visit a pleasant one. The weather can change quickly, so it’s always a good idea to have layers as well as a rain jacket or waterproof outer layer. You also won’t want to forget the sunblock!
